Th best butcher shop in Mackay is Meat on Shakespeare. Their smoked bacon is beyond amazing. But they also carry what some would consider exotic. Not here! Kangaroo meat is good for the environment and lean and delicious. It reminds me of bison meat in Alberta. Croc meat is difficult to cook well, as it dries out quickly, and flakes like fish. It definitely doesn't taste like chicken!
