On Saturday we went out and got a new kitten. She is a 8 week old orange tabby female named Rosie. She is so cute it almost makes your head explode. She is named after
Rosalind Franklin, who was the X-ray crystallographer who discovered that DNA was a double-helix. (Yes we do tend to have odd cats names). There are photos of Rosie over at the
website. She and Polly are getting along 'ok'. Polly does this weird thing where she runs up to Rosie, sits on her and sniffs her. Must be a cat thing.
Another cat? See, our tarantulas aren't so strange. Yes, it is plural; with Zelda's demise, we are getting Zelda II, plus one for Mike. They are so cute… plus, like your cats, they can eat mice when bigger.
