Rob and I discovered a Renaissance fair just outside of Caboulture, called Abbey Faire. This year, it happened to fall on my birthday, July 9. So Rob, my mother-in-law and I all dressed up in our medieval finest and had a blast watching jousting, sword fighting, dancing, vivid costumes, falconry, etc. (photos here and here) So nerdy, so awesome! I had a great birthday, with over 130 well wishes from Facebook friends! Now to get this Internal Medicine exam over with tomorrow so I can actually relax and enjoy our company!
